Food sensitivities are triggered by IgG antibodies that are released by the body and create antigen-antibody complexes. When these complexes cannot be removed by macrophages (cells), they deposit in the tissues and release substances that promote inflammation.
Inflammation is likely to occur when reactive foods remain a regular part of a person's diet. In turn, this inflammation in particular can contribute to a variety of symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness and fatigue.
